A FAMILY TALE
Our winery is born from our collective dedication to creating wine of the highest value. Dedicated to us, to our close friends, and to all those who will become part of our big family.
Since 1901, Grandfather Pietro was a sharecropper for a family in the foothills near Modena, where he learned how to make dark wine.
Best enjoyed with a bowl of tiny pasta in broth, touched with tomato, the grandfather’s favorite dish.
Achille was quite a character, a lover of celebrations, always wearing a smile despite a life that was anything but easy.
He would have appreciated Sorbara paired with a spicy dish, just as he liked it.
Our maternal grandfather was a contrarian by nature. Strong-willed and determined, he nevertheless had a way of making people fond of him.
Grandfather Flaminio loved to drink Lambrusco Salamino alongside his favorite comfort dish: beans, onions, and tomatoes.
Uncle Loriano was always the last to arrive at a party, yet somehow he ended up dancing with every woman there.
Just like our Metodo Classico, it captivates effortlessly and without asking permission.
A Border Collie who is never excited and a Lambrusco without bubbles: a coincidence as rare as they come.
To our family mascot we have dedicated a fresh, easy-drinking wine, with a delicate hint of toast and balsamic notes.
A CROSS-GENERATIONAL PROJECT
“If we’re going to make wine, let’s make it good—definitely not like Flaminio’s.” Flaminio was our maternal grandfather. A rugged man with a taste for the extreme, he had a curious habit: whenever he bottled Lambrusco, he’d add a splash of lemon juice. Stories like this are what inspired our family project—rooted in reinvention, built to express the full potential of the wine that best represents our land: Lambrusco.
